My husband’s mother, my mother-in-law her first visit at River Forest Home was on her Birthday, there was a cake, and everyone sung Happy Birthday she hasn’t stopped smiling since.

We visit her as if she was still in her own home any day, anytime and with a dessert most times (she has a sweet tooth). When we visit with her, the kindest ladies that care for everyone in the home greet us with smiles, including the other residents. We actually watched the Saints (big loss) game with everyone what fun we had.

Granny as we all call her, loves being in a beautiful home (being that she can’t stay in hers alone anymore), she’s always dressed nice, hair done( sometimes in curlers depending on the time of day ), ear rings in, most important happy!!!

She has made friends in the house and she is well taken care of, I refer to the house as filled with angels.

Everyone including the owner Mr. Craig which we see often, Lynette, Antionette, Keshia and others, we feel bless to have them all taking care of Our Granny.

Craig, it was more than worthwhile.  You have no idea the impact you had on us.  You, Lynette, and all the other workers became friends and never at any time made us feel awkward.  Besides visiting my mother, I felt I was visiting them, too, even the other patients and their family members were very friendly to my mother and my sister and me.  Whether you realize it, you are doing a GREAT service to all those that stay and their family. 

I always talked able you to my friends about you.  As you can see, my friend JoAnn Hamburger went straight to you to care for MS Marie.  She knew before she brought her that she would get the same loving care that she gave her at home; but JoAnn just couldn’t go any more.

Thanks again for being there.  I will keep spreading the word.
